Lenovo Idea Tab | Android 15 | 11" 2.5K Touch | 8GB | 128GB | 5G Tablet - Luna Grey

I bought the Lenovo Idea Tab 11" (Android 15, 8GB RAM, 128GB, 5G) mainly to replace the “five devices doing five jobs badly” situation: reading, planning, notes, and sketching.

Short version: it’s the first tablet I’ve owned that actually feels useful instead of just being a large phone.

The screen is the standout.
The 2.5K display is sharp without being harsh, so reading for long periods is comfortable, and planners/PDFs look crisp instead of slightly blurry like cheaper tablets. It’s good enough that I stopped reaching for my laptop for small tasks.

Performance surprised me, no lag switching between:
• note apps
• Kindle
• browser with too many tabs open
• PDF planners

8GB RAM makes a real difference here. Nothing reloads constantly.

Why I chose it over an iPad:
I wanted flexibility. Android lets me download planners, move files normally, and use it more like a lightweight computer rather than a locked ecosystem device.

Battery life: easily a full day of real use.

Things to know:
It’s not a high-end drawing tablet. You can sketch and plan comfortably, but professional illustration latency still exists. For planning, journaling, garden layouts, and everyday productivity though - perfect.

Overall:
Not a “luxury” tablet, not a budget frustration.
It hits the practical middle - powerful enough to rely on, simple enough to enjoy.

This is the first tablet that earned a permanent place in my daily workflow instead of living in a drawer.

Bought it for my kids for home school. It is easy for them to navigate. They are 7 and 8. Works well- nice size and display/sound. Love that it came with the folio case and pen. It works well with the app/games. No much lagging. Sim card compatible- which was the reason I bought it as we are travelling internationally and it is e sim compatible. Very affordable as the tablets (iPad/Samsung) with similar features that took sim cards were much more pricier. Overall good value for money.
