Grades 6–10
Foundation learning years

CM recommends

High-end specs are not required at this stage. A reliable, well-built laptop with the basics will serve your learner well through these years.
Grades 11–12
Senior school years
- Faster performance for heavier workloads and multitasking
- Smooth handling of large documents, projects and presentations
- Built for longer daily use and exam preparation
- Designed to last through senior school years
CM recommends (minimum)
- Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor
- 8GB RAM (16GB ideal for longevity)
- SSD storage for speed and reliability
At this level, underpowered devices can slow learners down. Investing in a capable laptop now will support them through demanding coursework and beyond.
