The SanDisk Optimus GX PRO 8100 is an internal M.2 2280 NVMe solid state drive built on the PCIe 5.0 x4 interface, designed to give compatible workstations, AI PCs, gamer PCs and creator PCs a major storage performance upgrade. This 8TB model is the largest capacity in the range, reaching sequential read speeds of up to 14,900MB/s and write speeds of up to 13,200MB/s, so expansive game libraries, application datasets, 8K video and large digital assets load and save quickly. It is built with 8th generation SanDisk BiCS TLC 3D CBA NAND and uses integrated SanDisk nCache 4.0 technology to speed up large file transfers. The manufacturer positions it for demanding AI workflows, intense gaming sessions and write-intensive creative work.
